Cutter Creek offers a friendly, casual atmosphere where lifetime friendships are formed.  When you join the Cutter Creek community, you feel the warm and welcoming energy of our members.  Golfing events are available for all level of players. Members are active and enjoy having a good time and making new friends.  


What amenities does Cutter Creek offer?


Amenities include a championship golf course, an outdoor pool, and a bar and grill. Where is Cutter Creek Golf Club located? We are located in the heart of Eastern part of North Carolina, in Greene County, with convenient access to major cities in the region.  Click here to view Cutter Creek on the map.


Is Cutter Creek Golf Club open to the public?


Cutter Creek Golf Club welcomes the public and non-member guests. Upon arrival to the property, please make your way to the Clubhouse and an employee will assist you with check-in. Parking is available adjacent to the Clubhouse.


What is the attire for golf?


Male golfers are required to wear collared shirts that are tucked in. Shorts, Bermuda-length and slacks are permitted throughout the season. Women golfers may wear slacks, Bermuda-length shorts, or skirts. Shorts and skirts should be a minimum of mid-thigh in length. Women’s shirts must have either a collar or sleeves and should be worn tucked in unless designed to be worn untucked. Jeans, athletic attire, cargo pants, leggings, tee shirts, and flip-flops are not acceptable attire on the course. The use of metal spikes on the golf course is prohibited

How are tee times booked?

Tee times may be reserved through our online reservation system or by contacting the Golf Shop at 252-747-GOLF (4653). All bookings must be for at least two (2) golfers except prior to 12:00 noon on weekends and holidays where we require website bookings for foursomes only. Any reservations for less than four (4) golfers are subject to Cutter Creek grouping additional golfers with your reservation. Each group may reserve up to two (2) tee times (or 8 golfers) through our website reservation system. For larger groups, please call the Golf Shop at 252- 747-GOLF (4653).


Where is the closest airport?


The Kinston Regional Jetport (ISO) is about a 15-minute drive from Cutter Creek.  The Pitt-Greenville Airport (PGV) is about a 45-minute drive from Cutter Creek. The Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is about a 1 ½ hour drive from Cutter Creek. The second-largest airport in the state of North Carolina, RDU has three runways and offers more than 50 domestic destinations and 6 international destinations with more than 500 average daily aircraft movements.  The airport is ranked among the best ‘large airports’ in a recent JD Power customer satisfaction survey.


Where is the closest hospital?


There are three major hospitals conveniently located to Cutter Creek: UNC Lenoir Healthcare is only 15 minutes from Cutter Creek in Kinston, NC; UNC Wayne Healthcare is 30 minutes away; and ECU Health Medical Center is an award winning regional medical facility within a 40 minute drive of Cutter Creek.


What sporting events are available in the area?

Kinston has the Texas Rangers farm team, the Down East Wood Ducks Baseball Team. The Carolina Mudcats is a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, offering competitive baseball entertainment in Zebulon, NC, a short 1 hour drive from Cutter Creek. East Carolina University also offers a variety of Division I athletic events throughout the year. Located in Greenville, NC, their baseball program is consistently ranked nationally. Established in 1997, Raleigh is the home of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes. The PNC Arena in Raleigh also hosts a number of sporting and entertainment events throughout the year.

What kind of shopping is available?

Looking for some retail therapy? Kinston, Goldsboro and Greenville offer a number of retail and specialty shops. Stroll the charming downtown areas to explore quaint boutiques and novelty stores. Big city shopping is only an hour away in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill areas.


What other activities and destinations are in the area?

From local activities to quick day trips, adventure and entertainment are only a quick car ride away from Cutter Creek. Whether you want to take the kids to cool off on a hot summer day at Lion’s Water Adventure 20 minutes away in Kinston, or plan a day trip to the beach to fish or relax oceanside, there is something for everyone in Eastern North Carolina. For the adults, there are several local breweries and distilleries in the area, from Mother Earth Brewing a short 20 minutes away in Kinston, to multiple breweries along Dickinson Avenue and 5th Street in the Greenville historic district. Looking for a night out, catch a show at the historic Paramount Theatre in Goldsboro, NC. The rebuilt theatre hosts the Paramount Performing Arts Series, bringing a variety of musical and performing arts events throughout the year. Want to enjoy a special treat? Visit the Simply Natural Creamery 15 minutes away in Ayden, NC and enjoy some homemade ice cream. Enjoy the outdoors? Eastern North Carolina offers an abundance of places to hike, kayak, boat and fish.
